Keytar Ball of the Rockit Man

Well here we are once more, ready to anniversarize around another classic concert.
Today's Jazz deity ought need little introduction, so I'll not bother.
If you don't know who Herbie Hancock is after his merely 60 years at the forefront of music, you're basically a cultureless cipher personally responsible for the decline of America.
This show is from the period in the mid-1980s when Herbie went full Hip-Hop, taking a DJ and vocalists out with him behind his multi-gajillion selling Rockit single.
It was taped in the Blossom Music Center. If you read this, you'll see that this was not Herbie's first visit to Cleveland.
Anyways this is sourced from some mighty clean pre-broadcast vinyl, and I left the ads in because you know you can't live without a Budweiser beer commercial voiced by none other than Lou Rawls.

There's HH with all the awards from just this one record... I think he needed a U-Haul to get all the hardware back to the house.
I will return very soon with more September to dismember, you know this is true.
What the fuck? It's not like I have anything better to do, with 60 dollars to last the rest of the month and no herb.
But do enjoy this performance of Herbie's Sound-System excursion, taped 35 years ago today and still one of the most tolerable things about Cleveland.--J.
